Cassidy left today. He lives in Michigan but is probably moving here in May! Like I mentioned in my last post, he's an amazing photographer. You can view his portfolio here! He also made all the vegan yummy treats, and I'll be looking forward to them until May onward!
My view on fashion is that I believe that fashion should be accessible. I understand that the fashions I wear are most of the time imitations of the "expensive" things, but hey... a $20 shirt is much more accessible than a $200. It's about piecing together things from all ends of your closet and making them work. You should take risks and be creative with what you have. I've never owned a Louis Vuitton bag and probably never will. Not saying that they're bad or that they aren't cute, I'm just not huge on big designers and either is my pocket book. Most everything that I own is thrifted, from forever 21, Urban Outfitters, and Small Boutiques. I think it is important to support your local business's and I make sure to check out the boutiques in my area before stopping by a big chain (if I have time to look.. sometimes you just need to know you'll find something).
So with that, here is one of my favorite outfits that I put together so far!
p.s. these are from the photoshoot yesterday!!!!!
I finally wore my yellow tights! If you guys remember a few posts back the white skirt with the blue top (you can view here) I turned into a dress! I love it this way!
(Skirt - American Eagle, Cardigan - H&M, Belt - Urban Outfitters, Scarf - Target, Tights - Target, Boots- Bakers)
Today I've been so exhausted. Actually lately when I wake up, I wake up soooo tired. Tonight = Lay around in pjs! So Chic right? :)

Now is a perfect time to introduce these lovelys I've been talking about for the last two days! As I stated earlier, Cassidy is currently a photographer in Michigan. He's amazing and has taken some of my favorite pictures ever. He has a knack for having a great eye for things. He also has amazing luck. The camera we used was his... that he found on the side of the road!!!! It's a canon 5D. Such an amazing find. He turned it in and it was never accounted for so after 2 months it was his! How awesome is that!
Please check out his portfolio! He's awesome!!!!
Next is my roomie and best friend! I'm so lucky to spend day and night with this lady. She is also an amazing photographer and an all around beautiful lady, as you can see below. PLEASE check out her portfolio as well (view HERE). You'll see tons of amazing photos. We love to go on photo escapades!
Gorgeous isn't she!?
Well I hope you all have a great rest of your Monday!
Thank you so much for all your encouraging words!

This is such a cool idea! I'm totally going to try it my favourite Roxy skirt. Thanks so much for the idea! This is totally my style :) I am definately following your blog now, check out mine too! http://sunkissedplumeria.blogspot.com
PS- The song is called Sunday, Bloody Sunday because of Sunday, 30 January 1972 in Derry, Ireland when 13 unarmed civil rights protesters were shot and killed by the British army. 7 of them were teenagers. Bono wrote the song out of the pain his country felt. It is one of my faves!
Have a great weekend <3
Oh wow! Well thats why! Now i feel like a ignorant jerk! Hhahah thanks for letting me know!
I love this outfit that you put together. Seems very whimsical and feminine - like the trends for the spring/summer collections this year!!! Nice job!!

your blog/style is incredibly inspiring. i like that you combine items from accessible, not-ridiculously-expensive stores (H&M, Target, etc...) to create something completely new and chic. love!
